Bedlam Foundation & Concrete Lifting Case Studies: Axiom Services Concrete Repair
Challenge
This project involved lifting a small hut, approximately 10 by 10 feet, serving as an internet hub for Axiom Service Professionals, a construction consulting firm headquartered in central Pennsylvania. The entire structure was sinking severely and the slab floor inside had become detached from the rest of the structure.
Solution
In order to lift and stabilize the walls, a pair of 2.875-inch diameter helical piers were drilled to a depth of approximately 19 feet and anchored to the footing of each wall, for a total of 8 piers. To address the sinking interior slab, PolyLevel™ foam was injected underneath until the slab returned to its intended level.
