Serving Greater Oklahoma City,
Tulsa, & Edmond
This Edmond home started experiencing some issues in its driveway and sidewalk due to an annoying street creep. A street creep occurs when the shifting of the road causes the slabs in the driveway to converge or diverge from each other. In this case, the street was causing the driveway to creep upwards towards the house. This caused them to become unlevel, creating a tripping hazard that needed to be fixed immediately.
Bedlam Concrete Lifting started by using PolyLevel to restore any unlevel slabs of concrete back to their original position. A small sliver of the driveway was cut out to make room for a compression water guard; this was installed to permanently eliminate the effects of the street creep from the driveway. All cracks were chased using a grinder and all of the open joints were then resealed using NexusPro. All the areas were NexusPro was installed received a layer of sand to blend it with the driveway. A 4" corrugated drain pipe was connected to the existing gutter and buried underground to direct any water drainage to its desired location.
