Bedlam Foundation & Concrete Lifting Case Studies: Push Piers & Pressure Grout - Tulsa Mission, Tulsa, OK
Challenge
This building was experiencing variety of different foundation issues: the walls were beginning to separate from the ceiling in some spots as they sank, the slab floor inside was sinking in various spots, and cracks had spread throughout the structure's entirety. In order to restore the bulding to a useable state, a multi-faceted lift would be necessary.
Solution
Bedlam Concrete Lifting installed eleven FSI Model 288 Push Piers along the structure's exterior, lifting and stabilizing the foundation and exterior walls. Inside, pressure grout was injected beneath the slab floor to lift and level it, and a sealant was applied at the joints to lock out ground moisture. With the entire structure permanently lifted and stabilized, two new concrete slabs were poured and formed outside the building where concrete had been removed prior to the start of the installation.
